Course objectives:
This 2 day course is intended for all primary care team members: GPs, GP Registrars etc. State of the art models, instruments and stimulated tissues will be used to give full ‘hands on’ training as well as theoretical sessions. Topics include: Preparation and planning - Instruments materials and sterilisation -Local anaesthesia - Basic surgical technique - Lipomas and cysts - In growing toenails - Pigmented lesions - Cryosurgery - Joint injection techniques - Medico-legal issues and administration.
