Course objectives:
This three day intensive course is designed to revise a wide range of topics in the various branches of Pathology, Physiology and Clinical Chemistry, that have direct relevance to surgical practice, clinical care and investigation of surgical patients on the ward and in intensive care units. The course is designed to ensure that those who present themselves for the Intercollegiate MRCS Examination in Surgery in General (Part 3) should have attained a good foundation in these basic sciences.
