Delegates can choose to attend either sessions which is £60 each otherwise they can attend for the whole day and the course fee is £100 which includes a sandwich lunch.
Course objectives:
Statistics is a science that cannot be learnt off by heart and is an important part of the intercollegiate fellowship exam.
Target audience:
All levels of orthopaedic trainees and for those who are going to sit their FRCS Orth exam. This half day course has now been increased to a whole day and is a popular course. Places are limited to 10 delegates only.
Topics covered:
This one day course comprises of two parts:
1000-1300: An interactive session on statistics (£60) which is inclusive of a Statistics Manual (retail price £40)
1400-1700: Applied interactive computer session £60. This is inclusive of a second book ‘R applied to Medical Statistics’ (retail price £40). Delegates will need to bring a lap top computer for this session.
