Pharmacy is a medical profession requiring a high level of education and training and in general, to qualify as a pharmacist you will need:
A-B grade A-levels in chemistry and two of biology/mathematics/physics, although students may be also considered with chemistry or biology (and one other subject) or the equivalent in Scottish Highers
A four-year masters degree in pharmacy from one of the accredited universities
One year’s practical training in a community or hospital pharmacy.
A pass in the British Pharmaceutical Society registration exam.
