Course objectives:
This extensive module covers general nuclear medicine practice. It addresses imaging techniques, legislation, patient care, consent, dosimetry and radiation hazards. In order to enhance understanding of clinical practice relevant anatomy and physiology are discussed in context with imaging techniques. The module deals with clinical applications for: Skeletal system, Endocrine system, Respiratory system, Nephro-urological system, Neurological system, Cardiovascular system, Gastrointestinal system, Oncology and Sentinel lymph node imaging.
