Course objectives:
Molecular imaging spans a wide range of imaging modalities and is a rapid developing field in both research and clinical use. The BIR recognises its importance and is holding a 2 day event to discuss the latest developments in molecular imaging applicable to all modalities.

This event will discuss the methodology, applications (both clinical and research) and educate through workshops in these modalities. The latest applications of molecular imaging will be covered along with the teaching of theory and practical aspects. The programme is divided into a day dedicated to neurology and a second day dedicated to oncology.
