Course objectives:
Therapeutic radiographers are responsible for the safe and accurate planning and delivery of radiotherapy to patients with cancer; a vital role that requires the use of sophisticated imaging and computer technology.
A course of radiotherapy treatment may last one day or seven weeks, and as a therapeutic radiographer you will also have a part to play in ensuring the physical and emotional welfare of the patient throughout.
This degree programme is ideal if you want to combine a science background with medical and biological sciences, and apply your training in a supportive clinical environment.
