Course objectives:
This course aims to provide students with knowledge and critical understanding of neonatal diseases in the tropics. It uses a problem-based approach to enable students to adopt an evidence-based and reasoned approach to the diagnosis, management and control of neonatal diseases in a variety of regional and resource settings.

Demonstrate a detailed and systematic understanding of neonatal epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical presentation, complications, differential diagnosis and investigation of important neonatal diseases in the tropics
