Special emphasis will be placed on lessons learned and specifically on lessons that may benefit NHS patients. The management of severe ballistic injury will be described by experts in the field. The developments from previous conflicts will be discussed in the afternoon session. This will enable progress made in this field over recent years to be discussed.<br />
<br />
Delegates will achieve a full understanding of the complex nature of ballistic trauma. Clinical problems will be discussed in detail. Decision making, priority assessment and treatment planning will all be discussed.
