Course objectives:
The emphasis is on clinical expertise and leadership, and you must be able to implement your acquired skills in your clinical role. The programme begins with a three-day orientation, which includes revision of anatomy and physiology, induction event for students, introduction to academic writing at masters level and problem-based learning (PBL). The first academic year is organised into one, fifteen week semester. The second semester is where the Non-Medical Prescribing course has been integrated into the programme and this is run over six months.
